At SECU Caring House, we believe in the power of shared meals to bring comfort, connection, and healing. When you provide a meal for our guests, you’re doing more than offering nourishment — you’re creating a moment of peace and togetherness during a difficult journey.
Many of our guests spend long, emotional days receiving cancer treatment at Duke Cancer Institute. Coming home to a warm, homecooked meal can provide not only physical sustenance but emotional relief — a reminder that they are cared for and not alone.

It was a very warm welcoming environment with very professional staff. One of the things which stood out was, you were with other guests whom are going through the same situations that helped each other through emotional support, prayers and suggestions that may help to comfort the cancer ailments. We were very blessed to have found this place.
